AMI 0-3 Assistant Certificate–Book Orders

Excitement and anticipation are building for the forthcoming 9-day AMI 0-3 Assistant Certificate Course, commencing on April 18th, Auckland.

The interest has been heart warming which validates the  understanding of the importance of the first 3 years of life.

Montessori Book Order

If you are still considering attending the 0-3 Certificate Course or you would simply like to expand your Montessori book repertoire MMEF will be placing a book order on March 11th for:

The Child in the Family – NZ35

Education for a New World – NZ35

The Absorbent Mind – NZ39

The Child in the Family is a great source for parent evenings and this version of The Absorbent Mind contains the develop of language and the development of movement as pull out charts! (these are pure joy for book geeks!)

We are also taking orders for Understanding the Human Being by Dr Silvana Montanaro.

If we place an order for 10 books or more the cost can be capped at no more than $70. Yep, it’s not cheap but will be an on-going source of support and inspiration for parents of 0-3 aged children.

there will be a teacher workshop about the Montessori Model of the United Nations (MMUN). The two day energizing workshop will provide teachers with an overview of the MMUN and it's place in peace education. You will receive a manual with detailed guidelines on how to implement the MMUN Program in your classroom and resources for global education activities.

MMUN promotes students’ and teachers’ interest in the world around them and teaches vital skills in problem solving, conflict resolution, research and communication.
